Artemide 'Warrior' Wall Lamp
Designed by Emanuele Ricci
The Warrior lamp by Emanuele Ricci for Artemide Sidecar, unveiled in 1989, is more than a lighting fixture—it's a bold fusion of art and utility. The Warrior lamp earns its name from its bold, shield-like design, evoking the strength and resilience of a futuristic warrior’s helmet and visor while illuminating spaces with a commanding presence.
The frame, crafted from shaped metal rods and secured with four springs, reveals the glowing filament of the halogen bulb, adding an industrial edge. A partially reflective mirror masterfully regulates the light flow, reflecting 90% onto the wall and allowing 10% to pass through for a subtle glow.
This ingenious design showcases Ricci’s visionary creativity and Artemide’s mastery in lighting innovation, epitomising the unity of form and function.
