I wanted to create the Tokonoma logo in a medieval graphic style. After multiple variations, something felt missing. So I decided to go even deeper to look for inspiration. And here I found it.
I learnt that the original RuneScape font is a non-anti-aliased bitmap variant of the Arial font, and that RuneScape is one of the only platforms around that still keep to their original font. After learning this it only felt right that I pushed the design further by applying a non-anti-aliased treatment to the graphic.
