High Waist Pleated Pants

Two everyday problems shaped these pants.
I do not enjoy ironing, and most pleated trousers in the market wrinkle the moment you take a step, and usually come with a rise and zip that are too short to be practical. So I made a pair that solves both issues with intention and comfort.

We managed to find this beautiful black fabric that is a cotton poly blend. It naturally resists wrinkles, keeps its structure, and still feels breathable and light. You can wear them all day and do any action you want to without feeling restricted. Full asian squats, running, whatever you wish. These pants can do it.

Out of the washing machine, they need no ironing as long as you hang dry them. I also increased the rise and extended the zip which makes the pants more comfortable when sitting, and much more convenient when answering nature’s call.

These were patterned to be wide and straight from top to hem. They look sharp worn high waisted, which is my preferred style, but they also sit cleanly at a regular waist. Friends who purchased them have worn them both ways. The structure of the fabric supports either silhouette without collapsing.

Fit & care
Machine wash cold, inside out, preferably with a laundry bag. Hang dry.
Mako is 187cm & 70kg with a 31” waist. He wears a size 2.
In case we aren’t blessed with Mako’s proportions, I am 175cm & 70kg with a 32” waist. I wear a size 2 as well.
