SHIRT 08 - ‘FIRE HORSE’ [Tokonoma x Open Door Store]

Inspired by vintage Chinese tourist T shirts from the 1990s where well known artworks were freely repurposed as souvenirs, stretched, cropped, or printed without much ceremony.

The graphic features Xu Beihong’s galloping horses reproduced as a wrap around print, chosen for how they move across the shirt. We believe that if you spin around fast enough, you could probably see the horses gallop.

Limited quantities only.

Joash is 175cm & 70kg and wears a size 2 for his true sizing, and 3 for an oversized fit.

Screen printed on Tokonoma cut & sewn box shirt.
The shirt features a grey object-wash in 220GSM, combed ringspun cotton.

Sizes 1 - 4 available.
Gentle cold wash inside out only.

Produced in limited quantities.
Note that the size run for this differs from the white & black shirts.
