FRANK, type-1 flocked denim jacket

[This garment is made-to-order. The velvet flocking is applied by hand in our workshop, after assembly of the jacket. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the garment to be shipped.]

I wanted to create a jacket that could be the embodiment of the Frankenstein concept. After discovering this fabric and understanding the amount of labour that goes into using a fabric of such a nature, I still decided to go with it.

This would be the most intensive jacket we’ve made by far, both in terms of the cost (labour and material), and time spent on research and development. But the beauty of the outcome was something we were ready to risk it for.

The perfect jacket for fall, lined with 100% cotton corduroy on the inner for added weight and structure.
The sleeves are lined with a silky smooth rayon for comfort and ease of wearing.

Produced in extremely limited quantities.

Shin is 165cm & 40kg. She wears a size 0, fitting her slightly oversized.
Joash is 175cm & 70kg. He wears a size 2, fitting him slightly oversized.
Truman is 170cm & 60kg. He wears a size 1, fitting him slightly oversized.


**CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To preserve the velvet flock, hand wash inside out gently with cold water.
If you have to machine wash, do so inside out with a laundry bag, gentle wash and very mild soap. Hang dry ONLY.

DO NOT tumble dry, wash with hot water or rapid spin.
DO NOT iron, apply heat to fabric or use a dryer.

However, if you wish for the velvet flock to fade as much as possible to reveal the denim under, you may wash it as-is in a laundry bag, cold water, gentle wash and mild soap, hang dry.
