SPIRIT, heavyweight t-shirt

The phrase ‘the indomitable human spirit’ always made me feel like I could conquer any difficulty. When faced with an existential crisis I chanced upon Abraham Maslow’s ‘The farther reaches of human nature’.

Maslow is more famously known for ‘A theory of human motivation’ which contains the famous ‘hierarchy of needs’ theory.

That book is the reason why Tokonoma and all of these ideas can exist. I wouldn’t want to imagine life had I not come across his work. For our biggest drop, I decided that I’d like to pay homage to Maslow by including my favourite excerpt from his book. Enjoy.
