Tokonoma x Hypebeast, for Hypebeast Cup 2026 (Edition of 100)

This is the training kit. A bundle of our trompe l’oeil jersey and sweat shorts.

Using trompe l’oeil as a technique to create the optical illusion that these items are not what they actually are.

From scanning the shorts and jersey to matching the patterns panel-to-panel, this is by far the craziest and most technically demanding piece of garment we have ever created.

The jersey and sweat shorts are produced in a limited run of 100, no restocks.

Jersey
Joash is 175cm and 70kg. His true size is L and wears an XL for an oversized fit.
Ken is 175cm and 60kg. He wears a size L for a slightly oversized fit.
Shin is 165cm and 40kg. She wears a size S and it fits her just right.

Joash is a 32 waist. He wears a size M.
Ken is a 29 waist. His true size being M, he wears a size S for a tight fit.

Sweat shorts, edition of 100.

300GSM, 100% cotton french terry.

Jersey, edition of 100.
Digital print on Tokonoma cut & sewn box shirt in light grey.
220GSM, combed ringspun 100% cotton.

Sizes S - XL available.
